Summary 

Bio-Pharma Searches, Inc. is working closely with a Global Preclinical Contract Research Organization based in Shanghai to assist them with staffing in their new US location in San Diego, CA. As part of growing R&D business, the San Diego site is currently seeking two highly motivated and skilled immunologists to lead and/or be part of the immunology team to further develop company’s immunology platform. Candidates will be expected to have a broad, multidisciplinary expertise across many aspects of immunology and oncology including immune responses against tumor cells, T-cell, NK cell and/or and myeloid suppressor cell biology, antibody drug development and target validation. This position will require candidates to work independently, enthusiastically, and creatively, as well as foster and manage external collaborations with clients.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, design, and execute internal and external immunological studies
  • Establish and implement new assays/technologies for immunotherapeutic platforms
  • Guide and implement the strategy and planning for the TI/TV of immuno-oncology targets
  • Develop and evaluate antibody or cell based therapeutics in oncology indications
  • Provide scientific expertise and leadership to the team and maintaining cutting-edge scientific knowledge in the fields

Qualifications

  • PhD in Immunology with 3+ years of experience
  • Expertise in advanced cellular and molecular immunology techniques
  • Extensive experience in immunological method development and method validation
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and to meet frequently tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently while effectively interacting and communicating with other scientists and teams
  • Proven track record of scientific accomplishments demonstrated by publications in peer reviewed journals
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
  • Preference will be given to candidates with prior pharmaceutical industry and/or biotechnology experience
