Ferdy Hossain

Principal

Ferdy Hossain started his career as an executive recruiter in the year 2000, right when he graduated from college. He started with the prestigious Management Recruiters International, and he also worked for Sanford Rose Associates, where he excelled in both sales and business development. He has managed many entry-level recruiters and turned them into ‘success-stories.’ He has completed numerous impressive executive search assignments with clients ranging from global pharmaceutical companies to mid-sized biotechs to the CRO world.

With more than 16 years of solid executive recruiting experience under his belt, Ferdy has a thorough grasp on the challenges of the search assignments and the intricacies of managing the search processes. Combined with his strong academic background and business acumen, Ferdy finds it very easy to communicate and correspond with top-level executives within his industry. He is extremely knowledgeable about his industry and the current market trends, and he is very well connected amongst executives in the Life Science industry, nation-wide. These two factors help him to build lasting partnerships with his valued clients.

Originally, from Bangladesh, Ferdy moved to the United States to achieve his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Berea College, with an emphasis on Marketing and a minor in Communications, and he studied MBA (Human Resources) from Xavier University. He is fluent in Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, and English and he’s an avid reader who is also fond of soccer and cricket. Ferdy has a passion for cooking and traveling and he divides his time between Cincinnati and San Diego.

Mike Klepper

Director of Recruiting

Personable, punctual and intelligent, Mike understands that executive searches are about building relationships between candidates and clients. He is not afraid to go above and beyond to ensure he is recommending the right talent, to the right company. With a strong background in hospitality as an executive chef, consultant and recruiter, Mike has the experience necessary to build solid teams and manage large groups in a high-stress environment. He joined Bio-Pharma Searches, Inc. in the summer of 2010 in order to apply his skills to a more demanding industry. Making several high-level placements right out of the gate, he has proven to be an asset the BPSearches team.

With such an abundance of recent technological advancements coupled with a new generation of leaders, Mike has a firm grasp on what it takes to keep his team ahead of the curve. He is constantly striving to stay abreast of this technology and how it is implemented by its users and ensuring the BPSearches team is equally knowledgeable.

Mike holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from The University of Wooster in Ohio. In his spare time he likes to travel and he has a passion for cooking and enjoys the digital arts.

Brian McKnight

VP of East Coast Operations

Brian McKnight started his career as an executive recruiter in 2006 when returning to the United States after a business venture in Sri Lanka. Previously, he was running offices in New York City and Chicago running outsource marketing for Fortune 500 clients. He was always in charge of the recruiting and hiring processes for these offices and had strong success of finding the talent needed for the company to achieve their goals. When relocating back, he realized his true passion was in recruiting and his career begun. Brian has strong accomplishments in both sales and business development. He has managed a team of over 20 recruiters for a Fortune 500 recruiting firm as well as started an executive search division for a known Travel Nurse Company. He was a major contributor to making that organization increase annual revenues from $50M to over $200M in annual revenue in 3 years.

Brian has more than 10 years of solid executive recruiting and management experience. He is able to hand both the sales and business development with his major clients. He specializes in the direct recruiting methodology uncovering the hidden talent in today’s market. That talent can and will make a difference in any organization. His consultative approach and flexibility can assist in filling the needs and multiple disciplines with the right candidates. His ability to evaluate talent and then provide the process where top talent can meet and enjoy success with quality employers is second to none.

Brian holds a Bachelor Degree in Finance and one in Sports Organization from Miami University in Ohio. In his spare time he enjoys traveling and enjoying sports in any fashion.  He manages the clients in East Coast for Bio-Pharma Searches, Inc., and he is based out of Cincinnati, Ohio.
